Good
This story was ok. A little hard to believe, but most people don't read these types of books for the belief, it's mostly for the fantasy. Nice story, hot sex, good characters.
Good book
This is a lovely, intelligently-written story, about two persons who are thrown together by circumstance, and discover that serendipity has made a perfect match. Blake, a bouncer by trade, and Courtney, a slave/slut/sub by trade, meet in the food court at the mall, when he rescues her from abuse at the hands of her master. The master gives her to him, in disgust. Blake doesn't quite understand what he's gotten himself into.
The rest of the story tells how Courtney seduces Blake, teaching him about her, about what it means to own a slave, and teaching him a bit about himself. On a personal level, this story resonated with me, as I was given an adult woman as a gift some thirty-four years ago. I had no idea that when I bought the household goods of a separating married couple, they were also throwing in their human pet. The mental shocks Blake suffers here remind me of the ones I suffered when trying to figure out what to do with my new pet. It made me laugh ...
There are a number of ways for the author to take this relationship from the endpoint of this book; the author has requested that if we wish to see a sequel, we say so. I very much wish to see a sequel. I loved this story.
